The Cape Hairy Bat (Myotis tricolor) is a species of vesper bat in the Vespertilionidae family. It is found in Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Its natural habitats are dry savanna, moist savanna, Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, caves, and subterranean habitats (other than caves).
